WHISPERS OF LOVE

Love whispers to my ear,
"Better to be a prey than a hunter.
Make yourself My fool.
Stop trying to be the sun and become a speck!
Dwell at My door and be homeless.
Don't pretend to be a candle,
be a moth,
so you may taste the savor of Life
and know the power hidden in serving."
Rumi

Always a delight to read Rumi, may God bless his noble soul.

A poem similar to its essence the other day I found and was really impressed by its eloquence where Rumi said,

"Avoid looking for new Ways to flee across the chessboard. Listen to Hear ‘Checkmate!’ spoken directly to You."

Blessings to you Zahra for bringing it to us.
